Programs Available Online and On-Campus

Education Technology Leadership – Master’s or Certificates (Online Only)

The Educational Technology Leadership master's degree program is innovatively designed to prepare you for leadership roles in improving teaching and learning through the application of educational technologies in K-12 schools, higher education institutions, corporations, organizations, associations, governments and foundations. GW also offers the following online Graduate Certificates:

  • Graduate Certificate in Education Technology Leadership
  • Graduate Certificate in Instructional Design

Educational Leadership and Administration – Master’s Degree, Post-Master’s Certificate or Education Specialist (EdS) Degree

GW’s Educational Leadership and Administration program has received national recognition from the Educational Leadership Constituent Council (ELCC) and is nationally accredited and recognized as a program of distinction by the National Council for Accreditation of Teacher Education (NCATE). Three programs of study are available:

Special Education for Culturally and Linguistically Diverse Learners – Master’s or Certificate 

The Special Education for Culturally and Linguistically Diverse Learners master's degree is accredited by the National Council for Accreditation of Teacher Education (NCATE). The program equips current educators with the knowledge and skills to effectively understand and address the cultural, language, social and learning needs of a variety of students whose diversity and exceptionalities affect their school success. A Certificate option is also available.

Interdisciplinary Secondary Transition Services – Master’s or Certificate (Online Only)

The Interdisciplinary Secondary Transition Services master's degree prepares you to assist youth with disabilities and youth at-risk to make successful transitions through high school to post-secondary education, employment and independent adulthood. The curriculum integrates the roles of relevant disciplines and service agencies including postsecondary planning, alternative service models, and extended career support and adjustment to independent living. A Certificate option is also available.
